Welcome To Colorado!!
This site is a set of organized trip reports based on 20+ years of exploring Colorado. This is not a trail guide (see our Resources below for those), this is a historic record of some epic vehicle based travels in the beautiful state of Colorado. All of these Routes were run using mild rigs on 31-33" tires with competent drivers and complete recovery gear. Our routes run the gamut from mostly pavement to high altitude trails that challenged our vehicles and nerves. Our Elements are things we've found while exploring; we look for authentic experiences and historically significant places that are accessible by vehicle or a combination of driving and hiking. All of the resources we've used for our planning are below, as well as some great basecamps to explore from and other useful information. Have fun and be safe!!
